Love it, Ben. I like the methoding behind the pass through design. I personally would have tried to find a way to enclose the toilet separate from the past through space. Maybe rotate it 90° against the dividing wall, and wall it off from the shower and vanity. Would be tight, but the privacy would be nice. Something I learned to love about many Australian bathrooms is the separation of toilets from vanity and shower.
@martymaloney1032

Cam-Asher Bond It’s nice to have it separated but I imagine most people would leave that door open because it would feel claustrophobic...I’ve seen a number of bathrooms that could not have been to code because my shoulder was touching the wall. You need room to maneuver. 😬

@jpvill4th

Based upon some of the comments, if you do some internet searches you can find the build that uses double wide and double high 40 foot and extra high containers. There is a center space that is enclosed by heavy duty garage-type doors with windows. These were painted a dark red; not something I would use. The one I am thinking of also had a swimming pool that also used a shipping container.

In Oregon you haven’t been allowed to have a bathroom open into a kitchen in at least the last thirty years. A friend had to add a (I think ) two foot angled wall when she remodeled her old house to make a “hallway”. I rented an old house that didn’t have a sink in the bathroom, I thought that was illegal but he got away with it. As long as you have a door, who cares.
