Lovely testimonial from the client.... "Chris and his team did an absolutely brilliant job on my garage conversion. From the initial consultation to the finishing touches and all the build in between, the quality of work has been fantastic. Most importantly, with the garage being in close-proximity to other houses, the soundproofing level is brilliant. The guys are also a really friendly, knowledgable and professional bunch of people. They truly care about their clients and the high standard of their work - and are even considerate of clients gardens/home etc, ensuring any debris is swept/cleared after each visit. I would wholeheartedly recommend Soundproofing expert for any drum studio builds. Im absolutely delighted with my home studio and can't wait to use it. Thanks Chris, PJ and Jacob for making my vision come to life!" Simon 😊

Great job! - I would love to know how much it cuts down the sound of the drums from outside. An sound comparison would have been the icing on the cake, so we know how effective it was! Nicely done though - very similar to my own garage drum studio conversion.

Great videos guys, a real help to those of us doing something rather smaller scale or building ourselves without much of a budget! Any chance you could share where you get the rubber door seals from?

Another question if you don't mind - do you usually build 600m centers or 400 on your studs? Looks like you have a mix of both, I guess to get the correct width for plasterboard meeting? Trying to work out what's best for a 3m x 3m room.
@soundproofingexpert777

@@andrewrichards9042 we use a space of 39.5cm in between the studs (not sure what that is to the centre exactly) probably around 43mm - so you can get 3 equal pieces out of a 120x60 slab. That allows for the cut and so it fits in ok. Even with double plasterboard 60 spacing is too flexible in terms of the wall rigidity. Hope that helps! 🤟

Hello again, do you make the door seals yourself? Where do you buy the parts? Thank you! I’m mid build and the door has been giving me a headache for weeks!
