Just a tip : sensor wiring should enter through the bottom of an enclosure if possible, and always with a drip loop. Builders describe this as relying on *physics* to keep water out instead of just relying on the *chemistry* of your sealant. Ow, looks awesome. Thanks!

Good tip! When you install a SpaceX Starlink system, their instructions specify a drip loop too! 😎✌️

Great tip. I installed the temp, pressure, and humidity sensor on the bottom for this reason. I could have done this with the wind vane and anemometer, but I wanted to keep the number of holes through the enclosure to a minimum. The solar panel wire was too short to route through the bottom, so it needed to be on top. I've had it out for several months through torrential rain and it's still dry as a bone inside. I'll have to read more about drip loops, thanks for the tip!

One suggestion, not sure if I missed it. Most weather stations usually need to be facing north for accurate data. Solar panels work best when they face the south

Does anyone could point me where can I UPLOAD my data to, for free? I have tried Weather Underground without any luck. I need more options.

What's the data collecting interval here? For example if you collect data every 30 seconds, it means you can probably put the ESP32 module into deep sleep between those intervals and consume less energy that way. Might allow you to account for cloudy days or seasons when days are shorter when the solar panel won't generate that much power.

Can it be done in a way that data will be send over a mobile data transfer instead of wifi? I need a weather station in remote place without wifi.

Wouldn't you need to have the wind speed and direction sensors above the height of the trees to be accurate?

Only if you want to know the wind speed above the trees...

I'm curious.. if the MS8607 is inside the box.. and it's sealed up water tight.. how are you getting accurate temperature and humidity and air pressure outside the box?

okay.. I see now. you 3d printed a smaller box with air holes and put that on the bottom of your weatherproof enclosure.

Do DigKey have a BOM list where you could just click one link to see the price of everything and then add it all to your basket?

That's a great idea. They definitely should have that for their projects!

Your video was fantastic! The content truly deserves more engagement and visibility, but it seems that your videos are currently struggling to gain views. However, upon review, I noticed that your videos lack optimization, particularly in terms of SEO. Its current SEO score is 30 out of 100! which is lower than standard, hampering its exposure to a broader audience. I'd be thrilled to assist if you're open to it. Let me know your thoughts.
