An automatic watering system is one of the best things I ever added to my quail hutch. They always have water at hand and it doesn't get dirty. And I only have to fill it up about once a week. The best part is, it is super easy to build.
Here are the parts that I used in this build (these are all affiliate links).
5 gallon food grade bucket (can definitely get this cheaper from a local store) - amzn.to/2Jrdsrv
1/2 inch bulkhead - amzn.to/2u3a01r
1/2 inch pipe thread to 3/8 inch hose barb (2 used in this project) - amzn.to/2J5Gi09
3/8 inch hose barb T - (pack of 10 but only need 1) - amzn.to/2tZUQtN
1/2 inch pvc cap (pack of 10 bu only need 1) - amzn.to/2NXPHun
3/8 inch inside diameter tubing (can get this cheaper at a local hardware store) - amzn.to/2NXhQlE
1/2 inch irrigation hose (way more than you need for this build) - amzn.to/2uuaZb1
1/2 inch hose adaptor - amzn.to/2NZZd0m
PVC cutter - amzn.to/2LjlXtw
Poultry Water cups - amzn.to/2LqlJ0t
PVC T fittings - amzn.to/2NvSyKE
