Hello Aleksei, Thank you for the great video! In one of the two projects you implemented some LEDs and Button as IO pins in the logic part. Would be great if you could explain how to address those pins from linux? Linux driver?

Hallo! I’ll explain a little bit later how to work with memory mapped devices in PL from Linux. But anyway please use devmem utility ( mmap) from user space

Hello, how are you? Thank you for your video, it was very helpful. I'm relatively new to the area of embedded Linux. Could you tell me what the difference is between performing the steps shown in the class and using Petalinux directly? Are both approaches equivalent and aimed at the same goal, or does the method you used pursue a different approach for something specific? Thank you.

Both, Petalinux and Buildroot, is a tool for building and deploying Embedded Linux on SoC. Petalinux is based on Yocto and used only for Xilinx SoC. Buildroot is versatile (it can be used for example with SoC from Altera, Intel, Raspberry, IMX and so on).

Hi Aleksei, Thx for the Video, great content: I have a question to IPC. Which approach you would prefer? * ShareMemory: AXI BRAM Controller/ Block Memory Generator * AXI Mutex/ AXI Mailbox * OpenAMP Lib * IPI: Inter Processor Interrupts

Hi Nunu, thanks for watching the lesson. I didn't have a projects with IPC / multiprocessing, my area is more about DSP, where I apply multithreading for computation acceleration
