This is very useful! For me, the conjugation is not really difficult. One can easily memorize it after seeing the patterns. The harder part for me is the arrangement of words in French. Especially when the en, y, les, lui, COI, COD comes into play! Hope you make a video on this one!

This video is super helpful. The sentences structure is probably the hardest part about French for me so far. I'm fluent in Spanish & English, and Spanish has been super useful when learning French however, Spanish's sentence structure is much more similar to English's.

I have a question....when you are writing in French.....is the sentence structure the same as english? Left to right or is it right to left? For example in manga (japaense comic books) you have to read from right to left

@@mina-bc4ue thanks. Sorry it took me so long to reply....long story short, I had to go to sleep....1) are dashes (hyphens) important in the french language? For example (dix - sept) do I have to memorize the hyphens as well? 2) when I write words like zèro. I can't tell if I drawing the lines (don't know the proper name for it) correctly or picking the right letter when I typed words like( zèro or zéro) on the computer. Another example is (dèsole)...the lines looks the same to me. If I really look at it closely, it looks like one line is pointing straight up towards the left and the other is pointing straight up towards the right. Is there a website or a book you can reccomend? I hope all of this make sense 🤣. I'm not very good at explaining things. Bonus question: (I thought of another question just now) why the numbers like 21 or 31 and so on.... have vingt et un and the rest of the numbers (when you count) have hyphen or dashes? I'm guessing it just one of those french rules that everyone knows but don't understand. Like english...we have our own silly rules. Like the "ph" creates an "f" sound or some letters are silence but we still put the silence letters in the word itself when we are writing or texting... I hope that make sense. Again thank you for helping. If you can't help, don't feel bad. The fact that you are willing to try is enough for me and I appreciate it. 😂😁

I know how to speak French but I don’t understand the words
@Words-of-encouragement.-.

1. Start watching French TV shows, French KZitemrs, and listening to French music. Your ear will get used to hearing the language and you will start to be able to understand natural speech better. (I would be happy to make some recommendations if you tell me what type of content you enjoy) 2. You can also download the app called “Memrise” and it has an immersion section where you can just hear natives speak the language. It’s free. 3. There’s another app you can download called “Beelinguapp”, Where you can listen to, and follow along with stories read in the language of your choosing. They have a lot of classics like Goldilocks, and beauty and the beast, etc. This will also help you train your ear. The more you hear natives speak the language, the better your ear will get at distinguishing the words that you already know, and you will learn words that you didn’t know. Au revoir! Bonne chance!
