I have some small Shetland Sheep , they like to peel the bark off the tree trunks. This looks like it would work. Great tip using the bungee cords for holding the wire together while you stitch it together.

Yes, that was my experience. They push them over just rubbing their bodies on them when itchy. And yes, in the dry season they go after fresh growth and push them over as well

Yes, I start at the hardware shop and cut a 6 meter sheet into 4 even sections (about) which I can fit on my Ute and take home. Each section is then rolled into 2 guard. I’m currently planting a willow tree into a paddock where cattle are so that guard will be 2 sections joined after rolling them into half moon shapes. That way even when the wind blows the willow tree they can’t reach any of it
