Such an incredible video, I really enjoy how you've breaked down the aspect of positioning in the court and returning balls - going to play today and will follow your instructions! Thank you

Excellent Coach Vincent! Great lesson! Great job! Certainly one of the best NexGen tennis Coaches I've seen. I've been watching a few of you new Coaches lately, I talked to some legendary ones today as well haha but their old 😉 hope they don't read this ☺️ Thanks again 🙏 you're gold

Never knew about the forehand grip being more continental vs a regular forehand grip. I'll have to try this out on returns. Thank you!

Great video! I would be interested in watching a two handed backhand tutorial. Keep up the good work!

returning down the middle also takes away angles but gives a simple serve & volley option to the server

I noticed the back swing as well. Maybe because the “demonstration serve” is slow. But still, this is an excellent instruction!

The slice return or chip return on the backhand works very well especially against very hard serves. Dimitrov uses it virtually every time, Federer for many of his returns. Don't know where you got it that is doesn't work. It keeps the ball really low and opponent won't be able to attack it most of the times

Great video. On the one hander backhand return, what grip are you using?

Interesting, I have never heard that you should not be using your forehand grip but use a slightly off continental grip, I gather thats the same for the backhand just the opposite way no?

What about service return in doubles play? As the center of court may not be best with the net player present.

I like his rationale and sense of humor. This instructor is highly talented in conveying information. I could have been a lot more proficient and skilled tennis player if I watched this video when I started playing tennis in the 70s.

Awesome. I resorted to just blocking to reduce ROS errors but you have some good tips. Have a full western on forehand and use an eastern on ros. Slowly adding in more follow thru instead of just blocking. And will try locking the wrist like a volley as you mentioned. Suggestions for future vids: Process for getting a more compact forehand (Often late against really fast balls) and with a full western hard to get it compact
