@@Maccapacca35 PCPartPicker goes of maximum rated watts IIRC, so if you have everything under full load drawing full power you could in theory draw 400W, but under normal load you only draw 150W. Part of this is due to some parts building in headroom to their rated wattage (a GPU that normally draws only 300W might advertise at 400W to be safe). That said, its always better to have more watts than you need than less, and a PSU that's running under its rated maximum wattage will actually be more efficient than when its running under max load.

Most of the time, the recommended wattage is calculated very generously. I run a 220 Watt rtx 4070 super with a be quiet 500w Power Supply and thats still comfortably 100 Watts more that the whole System requires under Full load. Sure, if you buy new, spend those 20 bucks for 100 watts more but you dont _need_ to, especially if you just upgrade

You do not get viruses on a pc by buying brand new pc parts unless the sdd or hard drive you buy has a virus, or if you unintentionally download one, what you have is that probably software you use to scan your pc is malware. If you can, but it may be a bit extreme, reinstall your operating system and download the software that you scan your pc. If it still says it has viruses, then do not use that service, repeat the previous steps, and do not download that software to be extra safe. If it does not show any viruses I would still be skeptical and would remove it in my opinion, since 313 viruses seem like an absurd number. Noge: Back up your data if you want to do this.
