When the bottom tap position itu lower than the transmitter, why the remote seal oil height is 100? Not the distance between tx and the lower tapping point?

Hello William! So, for Remote Seal Capillary level transmitters, the level where the transmitter itself is mounted will not affect how the transmitter will read a level. The transmitter itself can be mounted below or above the bottom tap and still read the same. If we're working with a Wet Leg level transmitter, the transmitter location will matter, but not for Remote Seal Capillary level transmitters. You're absolutely right, the range (LRV and URV) will be determined by the bottom tap and top tap if that's where you want the 0% and 100% to be. The remote seal oil heights, low side or high side, does not determine where 0% or 100% is located. Once installed on the flanges, have the taps blocked and de-pressured to get your starting point LRV. Hope this helps!
