This is fantastic! I love how you get your whole family evolved. I would love to do this with my kiddos when they get old enough!

@Bradley Dodrill we love our time fishing together. We appreciate your kind comment and I know you’ll enjoy it too when you kids get older.

I have a house there in the crows roost area! Been wanting to get into the hybrids more there, where did you have luck at on the lake? I saw you got shad next to the marina

This time of year check 10’ and up. Sometimes people tend to think only deep water 20’+ and don’t look shallower. They move around quite a bit and I haven’t been lately so not sure where they are at. I’m planning on going in Octover, but Canton Lake has been on fire lately so haven’t left that lake. You can catch Shad anywhere on Fort Cobb. Thanks for the sub!

Can you catch hybrid at night?
@BooneBoys
Жыл бұрын
Yes but we typically never target them at night. It’s usually on accident while night fishing walleye or cats.

@@BooneBoys nice! good to know! I’ll say this, you’ve inspired me to get back into fishing again. Just got another boat yesterday and ordered a bait tank. Thanks for the videos you’re helping people more than you know. I’ve been Going through a lot right now and you guys are really inspiring.

@@ethonbell5181 that blesses us to know that are videos are helping you out. That’s our goal. Time on the water makes time stand still and is so refreshing. Hope to hear about you getting on the fish soon.

What size hooks do you use with the shad ? Also 4/5” shad good?
@BooneBoys

They will eat 4” Shad all day. I prefer a 2/0 or 3/0 octopus circle hook.

Have you ever tried a Clarkspoons shad ? They work great on Striper
@BooneBoys

@@robertsteele8838 I’ve never used the Clark Spoon, I used something similar with Cabelas Jig-N-Spoon. Normally I only slab if it’s last resort. Either Deadstick in winter and live Shad in spring, summer and fall. I’ll check out the Clark Spoon. Thanks
