I’d love to see some fishing without live bait.. Do you have insights to share on artificial tactics?

In the spring we use live bait because generally it works better. We did a vid last year using both smelts and spoons and caught a few salmon on spoons, kzitem.info/news/bejne/x6uh26NsqWKlfqQ Also we did a brown trout vid that we could only catch them on spoons. kzitem.info/news/bejne/t62imn6Cf5Glfaw There is another video ( small pond for brook trout and browns) that I out fished Eric with spoons kzitem.info/news/bejne/2o6k2olno4B0naw We will try to get some more content out that deals with spoons. Thanks for watching Ryan.

Where is the place to purchase the dodgers and seeing hooks?
@PineStateHunter
Жыл бұрын
Regina, Both can be found at most bait and tackle shops. If you want to get them online here are the links; northeasttroller.com/ ,www.maineproseries.com/product/emerald-smelt-open-water-fishing-leader/ We use #6 size hooks. Tight lines.

Which size dodgers preferred?
@PineStateHunter
2 жыл бұрын
That really depends on how deep the fish are running and how deep we are fishing. We prefer in this case the shallower in the water column your fishing the lighter the Dodger. Before changing Dodger weights we try changing the distance behind the boat we are trolling.
