Solid content. Very simple technique. Most people thing snapper are only caught on shrimp. This just shows how we fishermen need to use our heads and use all the available tools we have.

Another thing that works well is if you fillet a fish, take a strip of its skin and put that onto the hook, it lasts a long time and you are using up something you normally wouldn’t use

Hi Josh. I’ve been a subscriber for a while. Really enjoy watching your videos. I found these by accident. Last week I traveled to Florida to visit my Daughter. She and her Boyfriend took me to the Skyway FP. I sure wish now I would have found your videos about the pier. Things could have been a little better. Very informative. I live in the Galveston, TX. area and plan on getting back to FLORIDA ASAP. Keep up the Great videos.

Thank you for the video Josh. Do you add an extension to your cast net for the bridge? No weight on your hook? Will mono leaders work? Fluorocarbon is expensive. Great information. Thank you

My rope is long enough but some out of the box nets may need an extension. Mono will work but Fluro is the way to go.

Many nights fishing with my dad on the Skyway as a kid. All we ever caught were catfish. I learned young to slam them on the roadway to knock them out so Dad could get the hook off.

Too funny, literally a toad. Do you catch more of them and larger mangs at night? I fished the Skyway a couple of times. A fisherman on the pier told me that at night the mang bite gets really good. Maybe I'll take a trip that way toward the end of June. Thanks for the tips.

I am not going to lie, that Certate is a special piece for equipment. I think it really bills down to your budget. $500 for a reel is not cheap.

I live over in your neck of the woods. Between Skyway fishing pier in Bradington area between 64 and 70 we can go saltwater or freshwater and if you want we should go fishing sometime

Your videos are great, showing what one needs to successfully fish themselves. Anyone can go to the Skyway or other bridges. You are not in a $50,000 boat. Just do what you show and you can be successful too.
