Thanks Abby! Only needed to watch as far as “slide out the control end”!

In case this helps anyone, I found a different video that explained better how to get the blind down so I could start working on it. There's the "drive end" of the roller bar that has the chain, and the other end is referred to as the "pin end". If you're looking at the pin end, facing the drive end, you turn that end counter-clockwise/anti-clockwise to pull the pin in against its spring. Once it has fully retracted, the blind can come right out. Edited to add: Mine was completely different from this. The bracket on the pin end had a latch that I had to pry open, which then allowed half the part surrounding the rectangular pin to hinge open. There was no spring on the pin or any other kind of retracting mechanism.

Mine doesn't look like either of those. Nothing to prise up, no screw. No idea how to separate the pieces and put the chain in. Bizarrely, my chain is fine. It just somehow got out of cogged part and was just hanging at the end of the roller, not attached to anything. I can't figure out how the chain slipped out, since I can't slip it back in.

What pin do you bring in? Can't see one. Slide cog and holder anticlockwise but can't budge it. Oh dear!

This didn't help with where to place the connector on the chain
