This is so helpful. Thanks for making it. You have rode that motorcycle twice as far as I have. People like you and me are few and far between.

Greetings from England. Great content, very enjoyable. I love these bikes! Just got one identical to yours, but with only 26000 miles. It’s my fourth GSXR750 and I’m looking at keeping this one as long as possible, I’m inspired to see if I can get mine to 100,000 miles. Subscribed.

hey nice thanks.. i got the 2017 version and I am wondering now - my revive gas reaction is not that instant like yours, do I need maybe any adjustment to it or is it damaged?

Did yours have any screws that went into the filter to hold it down ?

I have a 2011 750 with 18k on it right now! What kind of engine maintenance have you had to do and when?! Not including oil and filter of course lol
@chase1up_2.0

I’ve never had to do any kind of engine work on it. As long as you keep up with your oil change, air filter and spark plugs the gsxr lineup are very rocksolid reliable bikes! 👍🏻

Thanks Chase what about valve adjustments? I am at 19k miles on my K8 GSXR 750. Also what’s your interval for changing the spark plugs. I bought the bike used at 16k and changed oil, plugs, and it already has KN filter, just cleaned it.

not sure what they recommend from the owners manual but I replace my spark plugs somewhere around every 10,000 miles and bang out the air filter about four times before replacing it but oil changes need to be on time that’s what keeps the bike running longer. As far as adjusting valves, I didn’t know about that until 60,000 miles and I’m already at 80,000 now so at this point I’m not even gonna mess with it unless a issue occurs!🤣

Tech spec tank grips. They’ve been on there for about five years now and still work great and not worn out. 👍🏻

I bought a '17 750, throwing a code for the air intake temp sensor, any idea where its located?
@chase1up_2.0
Жыл бұрын
Not sure where that would be located. The only error code that I’ve seen on my bike is the. Fi light. First things I always check is the air filter and the spark plugs.

Did you notice your bike not performing like it should with the dirty filter
@chase1up_2.0

Yeah you can tell a slight difference in power but mostly on cold start up it wouldn’t want to start because I didn’t have enough airflow to get it running.

$13 for an air filter where I am....not sure it's worth the 'saving'.

They’re typically $50-$80 depending on where you go, if you want to get a good one.
