So basically take it to a garage with a lift and a hydraulic press !!

Btw If You've not got a press you can always clamp the hub in a vice and carefully drift the bearing tracks out with a hammer with equal taps around the diameter of them until they become free

The tool at 03:10 is called a "ball joint splitter" - not entirely essential. Can use a pry tool and a hammer, or a big flat-head screwdriver.

Thank you for the feedback! In the absence of a special tool, you can use what is available, but it is desirable to use professional equipment to repair and maintain your car. Best Regards, Autodoc.

At 5mins 50 seconds the internal part just taps out (not like this in reality) revealing that your bearing is incomplete, where exactly did the internal race go? The most difficult stage in this job has been totally missed in this video, so how do you separate the internal race from the splined part of the assembly?

Wow not correct sockets for impact gun no torque wrench thread lock and who in the right mind hits the lower arm downwards to remove ball joint from hub and as for the abs sensor coming out that easily I think they have stripped it down before broadcasting not a quality work men ship

Thank you for the feedback! The video is informative and shows only the general principles of the constitution and the operation of the car and it is in no way to be taken as a manual for repair and maintenance. Your opinion and remarks are very important for us. We will take them into consideration for our next tutorial. Best Regards, Autodoc

Are there someone who knows what the bolts and (nuts too) are called in the video? 1. 10:34 2. 11:05 3. 12:53 4. 13:12 and where too purchases them?

1. Shock Absorber lower mounting bolts. 2. Lower Control arm pinch bolt. 3. ABS Wheel Speed Sensor. 4. Tie rod end ( They come with new bolts) I don't know the what the bolts are called but it should help you identify the bolts you need. You could even go to a scrap yard and take the bolts you need.

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, we can`t give you a precise answer to your question regarding the bolts size. You can look it up in the vehicle technical specifications. Best regards, Autodoc!

I think the hub nut is supposed to be tightened to the correct torque, not put on with an air gun...

Thank you for the reply. May I be so bold as to ask that you do the job properly in your "How To" "Tutorial" video's as the Disclaimer at the bottom of your post would not stand up in court, It would only have added another 2 minutes at most, and no one could claim if they follow the correct way to re fit the parts.

Thank you for your remark! The pull-rod of stabilizer link doesn't connect with the stub axle in this case and doesn't prevent its mounting. That's why, the stabilizer junction point shouldn't be touched. Best regards, Autodoc.

It's not that quick and easy, especially if components have been in place for many years subject to local conditions. Cleaning up and greasing of areas missed out, torqueing of bolts missing...

Some tips for the average Joe: 1) Undo the driveshaft nut before you remove literally everything else that could help you (A Breaker bar or scaffold pole is a life saver here) 2) This video didn't show what an absolute bast*rd the bearing race is to remove. You'll most likely end up resorting to brute force and cutting it off 3) Most garages will press bearings into hubs for beer money if you can get the hub off the car and take your parts to them :)
