Great work! Explanations was clear, great lighting, first video I’ve seen using a GS911 tool with the K67. I’m gonna get one soon on my next oil change. If I had to add to your video I would of shown the magnetic oil drain plug to see how much metal shavings deposits collected over your last oil change, second if you had a oil filter cutter to show what the filter collected would of been nice to see. Lastly cost of supplies used such as oil, filter, drain plug crush washer. Overall great editing and visuals, in-depth and informational. You got a new subscriber.

Thanks for viewing and being a part of the channel. All in this together! The drain plug had some stuff on it nothing crazy but I did clean it off. Results will vary. I have added links in the description for the oil kit and oil filter tool. The oil kit comes with it all that’s needed after buying that oil filter tool. The gs911 is a helpful tool to have especially if your going to keep a bike for awhile. It does pay for it self after some usage. Thanks again for the positive feedback. I’m definitely looking forward to the riding season this year and warm weather

Amazing job! I was looking for a video that the service was done and reseting the computer with the GS911. I appreciate this video. Around how much was everything with purchasing everything yourself?

Thanks for viewing and being a subscriber. GS911 can very from $3-400. Oil kit was $87 with free shipping. Here’s a link for the oil www.shopbmwmotorcycle.com/products/bmw-s1000rr-r-xr-hp4-k1300-k1200-oil-change-kit. The oil filter wrench was pretty cheap like $7. The gs911 is little expensive but pays for itself over time or if you do other peoples service light you can get some money back that way

Cloth & aluminum foil. Smart man!

Oh yea for sure! If the foil isn’t placed correctly it could possibly hit the pipes and that’s where the cloth comes into play as back up. Thank you for viewing and the support. I really appreciate it!

Hi question? With the gs911 can we remove the restric rev limiter in my 2021 s1000rr?? Is my first service.
@ctadrenaline
2 жыл бұрын
If your taking about the rev limiter for the first service have the dealer do it. You will void your warranty instantly if this is done even if your at the correct mileage or not. Plus it builds some kind of relationship with the dealer. DO NOT remove yourself. Anything after the first service and limiter is removed is from the dealer is fine. You can do the oil change If you want but do not do anything with your rev limiter. This is a only for the dealer to do

Hello, my 2022 s1000rr is at 3K miles already. If I change the oil can I do it without gs911 tool? I’ll be bringing it to the dealership every 6K miles but I just want to do the oil change every 3K miles

Yes you can change the oil as often as you want. I do mine every 3000 miles as well. The service light reminder will go off after a year or a certain mileage whatever comes first depending on what’s programmed. You can set a much later date in years or mileage using a gs911

Can you tell me how many liter of oil did you put? 4L ? Thanks for your help
@ctadrenaline
Жыл бұрын
With oil filter change it was 4 quarts or 3.785 liters. I do suggest with oil filter change start bike after filling with oil for about a minute then let it sit for about 5 min and look at the site glass. Adjust if necessary but for me and how I do it ( usually let the oil drain out for about a hr ) it seems to take exactly that much

Nice job. Do you have a link for your oil filter wrench? Just changed the oil in my K67 yesterday and not too happy with the wrench I have.
From what I've seen with mine after buying crush washers is they don't really crush and could be reused. Next oil change I do I will put digital calipers on old washer and new one to see is there is a difference. With the GS911 sure beats having to pay dealer $360 for basically an oil change.

For sure I’ll never have the dealer do the oil change now lol. Also I have reused crush washers too plenty of times

@@ctadrenaline Yes, doing it yourself pretty much almost pays for the GS911 the first time!
