Yeah, my rotor isn't half as keen as that to come off 😂

Just did this job today, fyi you don't need to remove the caliper carrier to get the disc off. Just as well as I didn't have the triple square #14 bit.

What about the handbrake shoes getting copper slip on them when spraying hub!!!
@TWOKDOK1

what handbrake shoes ? The handbrake operates on the caliper and discs on this model. There are no separate shoes / discs for the handbrake.

I'm more concerned the coppergrease gets in the thread of the wheelnut holes, this will change the torque applied the wheelnuts.

@@DJMarsB Hi. no, it wont, it means the right stretch in the bolt will be applied. often when the thread is mucky the torque is achieved without the right amount of elastic stretch applied. Hope that helps.

Exactly what I needed. Great video to get a better idea of how it is done on our current car. Done this several times on our old Volvo V70. Similar job, yet different.

It is not possible to answer your question, you can find this information in the technical documentation for the repair of your car.

@@autodocuk Thanks for taking the time to reply. I found the correct torque settings in a Skoda tech manual. They mostly align with your suggested torque settings except for the XZN#14 bolts, which they state as 90Nm+90degrees.

In general, the replacement will be similar, the only thing that may be slightly different in the design features of your car. More accurate information can be obtained in the technical documentation for the car or by contacting the service
