Its incredible how hard it is to find that DD6 shock absorber socket. Any help would be appreciated fellow viewers. Ty for the video, very helpful.

@@autodocuk Still unable to find the exact tools used in the video because socket #18 and #DD6 cannot be found when searching. Managed to find a decent quality shock absorber socket toolkit elsewhere for £49.99 and does the job (and many others hopefully) perfectly. Your videos are great and really helpful though - many thanks!

Could ya get away with not removing all the plastic wheel arch like just undoing the plastic near the shock bend it

I did my shocks today i had to heat the shit out of the bottom nuts thats how bad they were stuck on but i managed to do em in 2 and a half hours of struggling a big breaker will really be your best friend for this job! But remember things thatll probably get stuck etc

Easier if you start a couple of days ahead, wire brush n WD the bottom bolt 2 - 3 times, starting 3 days b4 you actually remove it. Helps greatly. Sometime the bolt seizes to the metal insert inside the rubber joint

Im not a qualified mechanic (im training) im just a normal guy with ratchet and spanners no power tools took me 2 and a half hours but i did havd seized up bolts
