Um, in the skoda manual workshop, for the 1z5 the wheel bearing hub setting torque is 180 NM and 180 degree. How it is gonna be 143 NM? Which one is the correct? Thank you

@@ferencantal708 I came here to say exactly the same thing - 140 PLUS 180 Which is an ENORMOUS difference (and that's bc it's a stretch bolt)

Did you spray wd40 before installing the disc and also how tight should it be?

Good video, seems odd he works with the hub over head height. 4:04. I thought it would have been more comfortable lower down.

@@scott2495 of course, you have every right to criticise someones opinion. That what the Internet is for. I was expressing my view. And you yours. So come on, explain why that makes me a weirdo. Don't give me a shit excuse about what's comfortable for him, you're right. I suppose you lay on the floor, unbolting parts from your mobility scooter, being as that's your main mode of transport.

Great video thank you. I needed a #19 rather than a #15 to use with the #13 spanner. Also removing the original hub bolt after 12 years was quite a challenge. After shearing one extension bar and bending another tool, eventually my father cut a scaffold tube in half which he and I were able to use as an extension couple to get the bolt loose!

We cannot show all the nuances and problems during replacement; this is all individual and it is not always possible to solve them at home. To avoid this, we always recommend that replacements be carried out by specialized car services.

I got a problem with magnetic ring of the abs sensor,is it wort to change jost the ring or is it better to change whole hub?the ring is on the new hub?

Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately, without a complete diagnosis, it is difficult to suggest anything, we recommend contacting an auto mechanic. Best Regards, Autodoc team

You can't get the ring separately. You'll need the hub. The ring corrods and often damages the speed sensor causing abs/esp light. If changing sensor do hub too. Changing just the sensor will lead to poor or no dsg shifting despite no warning light.
