do you think the cause of rough idling is bad spark plugs and ignition coils?

Very nice video and very helpful. was kind of hard to find a 3.5L Dodge/Chrysler Engine. This video will definitely help. Gonna use to change my spark plugs on a 2010 challenger. Thank you so much!

We had an issue with a vacuum leak at the egr tubing at the rear. Be careful to make sure that the egr gasket at the rear is still in good condition and that you get the intake plenum seated well into the egr tube.

Yes it’s very important to make sure that ring gasket goes back on properly for the intake manifold. If doing this job, probably best to just replace that o-ring gasket with a new one

I was told after you change the spark plugs you have to reset the engine!? Is this true and, if it is, how do you do it? Now thanks to you I can do it myself. Thanks bro.

I don’t believe that it’s necessary, but If you disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for 5+ mins that will reset everything. Glad I could help 👍🏼

I didn't see it but in this video did you change the gasket before putting the intake back on?

I do not change it out. The gasket still felt fine and had no cracking in it so didn’t see the need to replace it

Sorry to hear that. Things to check for would be to make sure that EGR valve gasket on the back of the intake is in place properly and not damaged. That will cause the car to run rough and possibly put it into “limp” mode. Other than that, I would just make sure plugs are gapped properly. Hope this helps

Getting etc light, codes read egr valve, was going to change, does taking off intake make it easier to get to egr? Will do plugs also, just trying to find easier way to get to egr. Thanks

That is too much work for me. I will pay the mechanic to do it probably at a dealer😒cars nowadays are very easy to change spark plugs. You do not have to go through this.
