I love the sound of new strings, it makes the sliding so bright and vibrant. But I practice so much that those strings quickly slide back into the dirty swamp.

New string do sound good, but I still like the dirty swamp sound too lol M~

What kind of sound would I expect if I took my cheap accoustic & just put 3 strings A D G & tune it G D G ? Close sound to guitar box or no?
@SouthernFireGuitars

It would sound close. M~

Helpful. How do you adjust the action?
@SouthernFireGuitars
Жыл бұрын
Thanks Chris. You could lower the action by sanding down the bottom of the bridge a little at a time. M~

Had expected the roosters joining you with the tune 😁 Michael, one question though, you cannot set different intonation for each string with that bridge or can you? How would you handle it when different intonation per string is required?
@SouthernFireGuitars
Жыл бұрын
LOL. I set the intonation on the low string and the high string. Sometimes the bridge may need to be slanted slightly on either side, the middle string seems to be pretty accurate when the other 2 are set. M~

@@SouthernFireGuitars Thanks for the reply. I know Fender style bridges which allow for intonation and string height to be set per string, that's why I was wondering. I didn't think of the option to slant the bridge.
