Fuel lines go behind strap as not to rub against exhaush and melt. Be careful with that.

I've done this job a few times but I like to re-watch to remind me what I'm in for. I always get gas on me somehow. You from near Philly or Baltimore originally? You've got "the accent"! Nice video.

That’s funny... I’ve never considered myself as having an accent, but I guess we all have somewhat of an accent. I’m not from Philly or Baltimore. Thanks for watching my video.

Don't forget to run the hoses thru the suspended O ring so they dont rub up against the exhaust.

It amazes me how non American cars had fuel pump access doors going back to the late 70s. But American cars didn't get an access doors until the 2000s.

Thanks for posting. Is that the Delphi 10146? Is it loud? My old one was buzzing so loud you could hear it over the magnaflow exhaust so I bought this delphi one instead.

I have a couple of Mustangs and i have dropped the tank many many times, not sure how it works on a hardtop but on a vert you can actually take your fuel door off (4 little bolts) then take 3 screws inside that hold the filer pipe to the plastic black housing, after that you can snake the pipe out. Only reason I'm saying this is because when you do it that way the tank comes down nice and even and when you put it back on it also goes up nice and even, then you can snake your pipe back on,the black big seal o ring that seals the pipe to the tank goes thru hell when you drop it at a angle like this,(even when its new) I'm pretty OCD so thats how i do it and maybe in a hardtop things might be different, just figured i would throw this out there for my Fellow OCD Mustang Vert owners, ha ha ha ha,i did enjoy the video man and I'm glad you cleaned the tank with water and soap, that was real cool, thanks for posting!!!

I’m kind of OCD as well, that’s why I did it this way and replaced the big o ring. I wanted to make sure it had a good seal. If I was to drop it time and time again I might not replace it and possibly do it the way you described but this one has been there for awhile so it needed replaced. Thanks for watching
