In the UK the life expectancy of a homeless person is 44. And yet...... Involve us, we may come up with the solution. Great talk. We need change and now!

My generation and I have witnessed the cruelty and bitterness of wars and conflicts. We also witnessed their ruinous effects through economic collapse, wasted resources and the spread of poverty, illiteracy, disease and hate. My message to world leaders is; Do everything in your power to extinguish the fires of war. Unite your efforts towards saving the vulnerable and displaced, for history will remember your ability to achieve stability, justice and peace for your people and humanity. ─ His Eminence *Dr Ahmed Al-Tayeb* The Grand Sheikh of Al Azhar 🎓 (March 13, 2022)

" THEY " ( the elites) LOVE war. They get wealthier and it drives many to poverty. It is a model that works.....FOR THEM!!

At timestamp 6:25 - this process is called "a kaizen" event in the Manufacturing world - AND is part of "Lean Manufacturing" and has been around since the 80s. In conclusion....it works to improve the process and reduces "queue/wait" time - waiting around for something to happen. Here, in this video, the good Doctor explains it on a social level. Well done. In today's society, changing the world begins at the global level with a holistic approach combining both exceptional leadership and strong collaboration among different stakeholders. To achieve meaningful and lasting change, top global decision makers need to recognize that all diverse groups are integral to creating solutions capable of improving conditions on a wider scale. Whether it is through championing progressive reforms or spearheading innovative initiatives, such strategic collaborations can be leveraged to encourage innovation and promote advancement in areas such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Ultimately, taking proactive steps towards social justice can only foster a more equitable society and make real progress towards achieving a better world for everyone.

In a nutshell...."Vertical Sliced teams" - this action orientated team effort - have been applied to Manufacturing through kaizen events and more pointedly - Lean Manufacturing and have been actively used for the past 30 yrs. It pays to get everyone involved - and reduces pretty much all wait/queue time....thus reducing ANY PROCESS and HELPING THE PEOPLE involved greatly with adding value to the process. Try it out... - brainstorm ideas associated to the process - separate the current from the hopefully ideas - insert the facts of the process into the foundation of the process - initiate the leaning of the process by combining tasks that are regional to the worker/person - repeat and add options that make the process run smoothly or even smoother. Be sure to initially measure the time you currently use for the proccess...and then when complete in the steps...compare the end results to the time and value you added by analyzing the process. All done through using critical thinking and logical thinking. Teamwork makes the dream work. Good luck. "What if...?"

Sometimes people don't want to hear the truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed. There are two different types of people in the world, those who want to know, and those who want to believe.

If you look at the smoking ban you also ought to look at the negatives. Loss of business's, more home drinking and alcoholism and rise of domestic abuse. Its not all positive. There are always more variables to change.

Today we remember the suffering of 90 million refugees around the world, who live in difficult conditions. They were displaced; they suffered the scourge of wars and conflicts; and they left their countries in search of safety and security. Today, on World Refugee Day, the call to awaken human conscience and to stand in solidarity is renewed in order to end the suffering of refugee children, women and men. They are the ones most in need of support and solidarity. ─ His Eminence *Dr Ahmed Al-Tayeb* The Grand Sheikh of Al Azhar 🎓 *_June 21, 2022_*

There is some truth to what he's saying but some potential downsides might be decision paralysis from too many conflicting points of view and the fact that those who have extra time to sit in comities and voice there opinions tend to be older and more priveleged kind of like jury duty in practice . .
