In this video I show how I replaced the front driver’s side wheel bearing on my 2014 Mustang V6. Should be the same or very similar for all S197 Mustangs. My car has been making a loud whooping sound while driving and so I found the problem to be my wheel bearing waring out.
In this video I use a new wheel bearing I purchased for around $90 for the pair. That comes out to about $45 per side. Shop quoted $400+ for this same job, so this will save you $300+ doing it yourself.
Very straightforward replacement that requires only basic hand tools to complete. I noticed right away the road noise sound of my front driver side wheel went away completely after changing out this wheel bearing.
Really hope this video is helpful when doing this job yourself at home. Thanks for watching!
