Thank you Terry, My 2020 Land Cruiser 200 owners manual did not mention to switch between fresh air and recirculate to open the filter box door to gain access to the filter - that's a new one on me. Glad I decided to looked for a how to install video and found your excellent video.

Great video Terry. After watching your video, I checked my cabin air filter. Man its horrible, torn apart, full of bugs, dust and leaves. Toyota dosent change this in their services here as this car had full major service 3 months ago. Now I ordered new one and ll change once it arrives. Thanks again

Good stuff mate, very disappointing when you get a service done and expect these things to be completed and they are not. Taking it over yourself gives you peace of mind. Well done mate😎👍

Terry just change mine after the video and took longer to walk to the shed the the job takes. Thanks for the inspiration / reminder to change it. I’m similar to you and change after each longer trip and some times mid way through a trip. And coming in to summer we all want a cooooooool car 😎

Nice one Danny. I don’t know why this is an often neglected item (guilty), perhaps because cars never used to have them so we just aren’t used to them as a service item. Regardless, you’re on the money changing it as frequently as you do. Enjoy the summer in your COOL car😎👍

I did mine a couple of weeks ago Terry, My aircon went from almost useless to fridge lol. Mines a bit harder as I have power outputs in the glovebox so I have to remove the glovebox to do it. Cheers Steve

Another great video Terry. So was that a genuine Toyota part or aftermarket? Was it cheaper?
@JafffaAdventures

Thanks David, appreciate your kind words. It was an aftermarket filter and was less expensive than genuine. I’m not worried about it being aftermarket as I change it so regularly I’m looking for longevity. Cheers and thanks for watching 😎👍

Hi Terry. I have a Toyota Landcruiser Sahara 2012. I have noticed that the rear A/C is not working as well as it used to and the air flow isn't great. When I turn the rear fans up to full they now make a lot of noise like the intake is blocked. I have noticed that the intake for the rear is at the back of the cabin. There doesn't seem to be any easy way to check if there are rear filters. Do you know if there are rear air intake filters and if so how to change or clean them? Thanks so much.

Hi Mark, good question mate. As far as I am aware there are no rear filters mate, it all goes through the main cabin filter under the dash. I wonder if there might be a mouse nest or something blocking your rear ductwork? Have an amazing weekend Mark. Cheers😎👍

@@JafffaAdventures Thanks for getting back to me on this. Yes, very strange. We have changed the front filter but seems to still be a problem in the rear. I'll take a closer look. It's booked in next week for a service but was hoping to fix myself. Have a great weekend. M
