@@TheLawnMentor I like the fact that even though the grubs didn't want to cooperate, you still put that in the video. Also , content creator to content creator, your video lengths are the ideal length. 👌

Could i apply the bio advanced 24hr now to take care of the grubs I have currently and then in a week or two apply my Scott’s grubex to prevent for the next few months?
@TheLawnMentor

Technically you could. Are you sure you have enough grubs to justify it though?

@@TheLawnMentor I was edging the garden and there were 5 grubs in a 1sqft area of the lawn. I saw the first one sitting on top of the soil and dug a little deeper and there they were. Is that enough for a treatment or should I just let them be?

This is somewhat inaccurate and misleading information. Healthy lawns can handle up to 10 grubs per square foot without causing damage. This is why most grub products are called grub control. The point is you’re trying to control the population. Just because you saw a few grubs doesn’t mean that’s the true problem. Also the first instar stage typically will not cause any damage at all, it’s the second life cycle in the fall.

To top it all off, you just killed all of your earth worms needed for the decomposition of organic matter, water movement, natural aeration and nutrient cycling. Great mentorship to your viewers. 👌

By the way, is this the kind of attitude and demeanor that you carry through to your customers at Plant Specialty? Condescending and rude? If not, your “DIY Sponsored Guru” does a fine job of taking it to the next level for you. Hope you treat your customers with more respect and maybe reconsider your choices in who you do business with. At least get somebody on board who doesn’t paint their lawn and knows how to calculate how much NPK they apply year over year…sheesh…

I appreciate the comment back, I’am commenting back to help you guys put out better and more accurate content for your viewers, so collectively as a whole, everyone can have better programs. When we file with the state chemist and the labs doing the testing, we don’t specify what our potassium source comes from, we just specify we would like the lab to analyze how much potassium is in the blend. For all they know the potassium can be coming from a piece of wood. When they send us the testing back they tell us how much potassium was found within the blend submitted. The source we use comes from many different fruits collectively. It is a plant available source, that is immediately available without needing to be broken down. If you have any questions about it you can certainly message me and I can inform you better.

The active ingredient in grub ex is Chlorantraniliprole. It is a superior product for season-long control on grubs and other insects. This product in fact will not harm any beneficial’s or earth worms. The product used in this video which was a 24 hour kill will in fact kill all beneficial and earth worms.
