Im surprised you never compared the common sardine. Tx nevertheless. Perhaps you can also do a lesson on preserving. I know salt is about the best, but aspects such as freezer time and how to wrap them if need be. As usual your vlogs are enlightening.👍

Hi Gijo X , the common sardine and Mackerel have the same tell tale signs when it comes to freshness, discolouration of the belly (yellow in colour) as well as sunken eyes and wrinkled skin indicates that the bait is not great quality. We are currently working on a video showing how to preserve bait so look out for it in the next few months. Thanks for watching always appreciate some feedback from the viewers.
