These are my favorites, in this order: Sumilayi Jojoba Oil & Pea Protein Strengthening Mask, Briogeo don't despair, repair! Deep conditioning hair mask and Mielle Rosemary Mint Strengthening Hair Masque. My hair seems similar to yours.

Oh WOW thanks so much for these recommendations. I've been tempted to try to Briogeo don't despair but it's on the pricier side - I guess you think it's worth the money? I really like the Mielle Rosemary Mint oil so will def try out the masque. Thanks again x

I was warned against pantene by my hairdresser . I love biosilk shampoos and conditioners or chi . Love their chi silk infusion.

Yes same here I was told they left behind so much residue it almost coated your hair with a wax but these new formulas are sulphate and/or silicone free are so much better. Thanks for the recommendation I’m not familiar with biosilk so will check them out 🙌😊

Thanks so much. If I'm not doing a clarifying wash routine I will use a coconut oil before I wash, which oil do you like to use? I've tried the mielle rosemary oil but not shampoo - I bet that smells lovely!

I always wonder how to actually determine your wave pattern. I mean... is my REAL wave pattern the one I have when my hair air dries with no product in it or when it's constantly scrunched during air drying WITH product in? And what about the pattern I get when using a diffuser? Coz the results look VERY different. I can go from 1c to 3a depending on how I treat my hair.

Hey @JuliaKirsty....good question, I'm pretty sure I even have some 1c's and some 2c's sections in my hair. For me I think the best test is if you don't add product and you don't diffuse or scrunch how does you hair look when it air dries. Mine definitely is majority 2b but frizzy without product! I also find I can probably get to about 3a with a lot of effort but it won't hold very long and it's too much work to achieve ;) How do you wear your hair most of the time?

@@Tori_Hunter I currently have VERY short hair, so I blow it out straight. But when I still had longer hair, I usually wore it just as is, air dried and wavy. My hair can look very voluminous if I do not style it at all. That looks very nice with anything from chin length to shoulder length, but with a pixie it just looks like a mess.

When I had shorter hair my waves didn't look great, like you said very voluminous and so I blow-dried it straight too!

What is the point with the double cleanse - with the second one being without sulphates...? What do you expect from it?
@Tori_Hunter

Hey, so the reason I do this is for me the clarifying wash is to break down the residue and build up and then the second cleanse is going to clean & nourish the hair 😊
