What’s the ratio of bleach, water and detergent
@Ahch.
Жыл бұрын
@@craig156 Pool grade bleach is around 12.5%. You can dilute to approximately 4:1 or 3:1 to get a 3-4% mix in a gallon pump-up sprayer. Add about 4 oz of laundry detergent (Gain is preferred by us Old Timers). You can use a dish soap like Dawn but make sure it's the formula that's safe for bleach. Get the concrete wet first, then apply your mix. Let it dwell for about 15 minutes but make sure it doesn't dry. Then use the surface cleaner. Hope this helps!

Pool shock works better. The chemical in it (sodium hypochlorite) eats all organic material away and it’s what professional pressure washing business use. Mix it to a 3-4 percent sodium hypochlorite ratio and spray it into the concrete. It will eat all of the organics up and then you can surface clean it. No scrubbing required!! Clean in straight lines across the driveway or concrete area. If you see lines left over treat with the pool shock again and boom a clean driveway the way the pros do it 👍👍

I hope you do know the common name for sodium hypochlorite is.......bleach. You don't need to spend money on pool shock, just spend $1 on a gallon of bleach and dilute.

@geesegoose6174 The fact that you don't understand what he is talking about is quite common for a commenter on social media. The surface cleaner (that's the round tool attached to a pressure washer) will clean concrete without needing to use the brush and chemicals. If, after everything has dried, there are lines on the concrete, you simply use a bleach mixture to erase them (still no scrubbing needed). Plenty of videos on here to educate you and walk you through the process.
