Ryan, gotta share this with you. Had a chilly morning hunt a few days ago, no clean thermal, so I threw on my Whitebone Kuiu long sleeve hoping it'd bring me good luck. 10 minutes into first legal light, arrowed a nice Kansas 8 point bruiser. Did the WB skull clean the next day and it's looking beautiful in the gun room! Guess I'm gonna have to keep wearing that on all my hunts. Good luck this season brother!

Ive got 3 deer skulls waiting to be done. Went to cabelas to get a burner today, and went searching for the chemicals needed. Found the oxi clean and mop and glow. Ran into a problem on the developer. All they had (40%) was the paste in a 1 gallon jug. Hoping I can mix that with the water and make it work, because they didn't have the clear liquid anywhere nearby....hoping this will work. Also, my pressure washer doesn't have the stream tip like yours. Its a 1.6 gallon, 1800 psi unit....but it only has the 15 degree and 40 degree fan tips. Thanks for all your instructional vids...hopefully tomorrow I will have 3 (or 4 if we get a buck while hunting in the AM) skulls cleaned and whitened tomorrow!!! I also have an elk in the deep freeze that needs done. Going to practice on the smaller bucks, and then get a bigger pot (and hunt down the clear developer if needed) for the elk.

I appreciate all the education you provide on the way to European Mount Animal Skulls. I used your techniques to Euro a Dead Head whitetail buck trophy my neighbor hit but failed to find. 166 and 5/8 10 point giant. I do have a question though: I used a Cast Iron pot on a propane fryer to boil in. I used a less than 50/50 mix of Liquid Peroxide (40% by volume) and water for whitening. Now the pot is very rusty/reddish brown looking. How can I repair/re treat the pot for safe cooking?

Ryan, your videos are well made and fantastic! Thanks for sharing them on KZitem. I’ve got a question regarding the developer boil. I used your formula of 50% developer / 50% water. The total mixture amounted to four gallons. I whitened four chamois, one tahr, two pronghorn and one bison skull in it. A month later I then bought three gallons of developer, made the 50 / 50 mix and added it to the original four gallons. When I brought this new mixture to a boil it never did boil well, however it foamed tremendously. The first mixture did not foam, it just boiled like water. Is there something I’m doing wrong to cause the mixture to foam versus boil? Can you give me any insight on how to remedy the problem? Many thanks in advance.

I found a ram skull and horns in great condition. Should I still boil it to remove the horns and whiten the skull or should I just leave it in tact the way it is?
