Agreed someone else here pointed out a 600 dollar charge for refrigerant despite it only needing 3lbs and charging 600. He mentioned $100 per lb

Repairmen of any sort and scammers, this shit is easy to do and doesn’t take long, 185 for a diagnostic. Bro just took a look and decided it needed the coils cleaned. Obsurd

Run your own business, and when you realize how expensive it is to maintain it especially here in the DMV..then open your mouff.

I can’t decide if this is sarcasm? Cuz those coils needed to be cleaned, the refrigerant needed a check, and the spout needed a clean. He probably spent around 2 hours with that client plus drive time. $185 sounds about right

@@TheMaddoxfam then your value of time is absurdly overpriced

@@spydR depends on the job and the value to the client. I don’t show up for a customer for less than $225. That covers my time, up to 2 hours, as well as the trip itself- fuel, wear and tear on the company vehicle, insurance, overhead. Someone doesn’t understand life or business. My rate comes from my experience in knowing how to fix a problem.

He clearly said that runs about $100 a pound, meaning what you would pay, you obviously have to up charge the customer to make money. Geniuses
