What do you think about air drying your face before applying skincare ? This has been more practical for me but I’m not sure if it’s a good thing to do. It takes about 2-3min to dry so that’s still a pretty short time between cleansing and skincare though.

Hi maybe you can answer my question. I have dry skin and I like wearing makeup so I just found out about double cleansing. So in getting a zero cleansing balm and I'm gonna use another water-based cleanser now my question is. Do I have to use both everyday? Or the balm only when I've worn makeup? Also I have blackheads and I'm not sure what type of Produkt to get for that. Maybe a BHA toner? Thanks if you do answer^^

@@t.4861 that's awesome! The reason to not use scrubs is that the "beads" often times cause micro-cuts /micro-tears allowing bacteria to enter easier, therefore possibly causing more breakouts or extreme inflammation. However, I'm so glad that it worked for you but a better option is a chemical exfoliate (AHA, BHA, Salicylic Acid, etc.) Instead of mechanical exfoliants likes scrubs and diy scrubs. I hope that helped some, Hyram has plenty of videos discussing this 😊

Don't splash water! Cup your hands together and gently bring it up to your face and kinda just dunk your face in the cup you made and then swipe the water over each half of your face, repeat until satisfied. @@taintedlife2618 a lot of treatments (i.e. BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, retin A) work just fine applied AFTER moisturizing. I typically wait a few minutes to allow the moisturizer to completely absorb and dry. Doing it this way also helps limit irritation. If you apply liquid treatment products with your hands/fingers, instead of a cotton pad, you won't feel like you are re-cleansing/toning. Hope this helps!

Like she's such a fan all I hear is Hyram this and Hyram doesn't like that stuff...etc. She's been getting lots fo compliments on her skin. Tons actually, since following you. But what about me....the old mom? What about us Hyram?? I've spent so much money on Le Mer at Neiman's and it feels good...but do I notice anything remarkable after using an entire jar? Nope. Of course nothing beats botox. But for in-between and over all skin glows....what's a 50's pluser to do? I know, follow an old lady influencer. There is that option, but don't your routines do the same goodness for us oldies? Besides retin-a and botox and expensive micro needling with PRP and VIPeels and laser and radio frequency devices at our drs office...what's the best anti sagging anti wrinkling stuff out there?

it’s sad but i made the personal choice to only buy cruelty free products a few years back and it can really limit what is easily available - especially with drug store products. if you ever made a video specifically detailing your favourite cruelty free brands and products i would be very appreciative and i’m sure others would too :) thank you

Don’t confuse Sodium Laureth Sulfate with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, when people say avoid SLS, they mean Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Sodium Laureth Sulfate is a safer option to use rather than SLS but it’s not the best ingredient in the world as it still has a potential to overly strip the skin and can be drying
@HarlieePlayz

Is this the correct skin care order 1) wet face 2) use cleanser (gently rub in for 45secs) 3) wash face gently and effectively 4) dry your face and apply toner 5) *optional* apply face mist (good before adding moisturiser) 6) apply your moisturiser Then your done ! Well is that correct ??💕

emily nicole - Jordan Samuel Skin products are on average significantly higher than drugstore but less expensive than products in Sephora. To me the value is there because I’m paying for well-formulated products made in small batches, and I’m supporting a small brand, not paying for the huuuuuge marketing budget needed to get products into Sephora. Jordan got his start in skincare when he was a ballet dancer and couldn’t find a formula to remove the heavy stage makeup that was effective but not stripping.

This video is super good! It's super informative without being judgemental or overloading with facts and confusing details. I'm sending this to my brother. Earlier today he asked me if I would go shopping with him for a cleanser, moisturizer and beard oil after admitting he'd been stealing my cleanser a couple times (which I'm fine with). This video will be so helpful for him! Sometimes it's hard for me to explain just the basics to him (like, "wet your face" lol) because I'm at a much more advanced place with my own routine. I'm really happy I got to use my Hyram knowledge today to help my brother spend his money wisely and save his sensitive dry skin. Thank you!

I'm a curly girl and I've noticed it's very helpful to cleanse right after doing my hair in the morning. I would break out on my forehead every so often because of the product that would drip down while I'm doing my hair. I started a cleansing routine right after I finished my hair and it's really helped minimize any break outs I might get. Think about adding on your cleansing routine to your hair routine :)

I made some notes on the video and I thought someone would like to read them lol. How to use cleanser 1. Wet your face (or use it in the shower) 2. Take a "dime" sized amount in your hands and rub until it foams a bit. GENTLY start rubbing it on your face for 45 seconds to a minute (a tip from hyram is to imagine you are touching somone elses face so you are rubbing gently enough but still cleaning your face.) 3. Splash your face with water and make sure all of the product is off. Dry your face with a CLEAN towel (pat it dont rub) 4. Dont wait too long to do the rest of your skincare routine because your skin will start producing oil on its own.

I found you through the King of skincare’s channel... I’ve been binge watching your videos all month and you know, you’re about ready to snatch that crown. I am 100% recommending your channel to my social media circles + friends and family because you’re educated on ingredients and are actually careful with your products. Even the king himself uses products and recommends, that contain high amounts of alcohol and silicones. I bought products on a whim just trusting him but having oily/sensitive skin I can not be doing that. I’m doing a lot more careful research now and am in love with you and your videos! Keep going! Your personality is so cute and your videos are informative + pleasant to watch. I always want them to keep going and not be short, you’re doing something right and I can’t wait to see your channel grow to a million subscribers! ♥️

REQUEST PLEASE: La Roche Posay vs Avene for sensitive skin please!
@dayamipalma8800
4 жыл бұрын
I use both!! My skin is soooo sensitive and reacts out of nowhere. I personally use from Avène the Xera Balm A.D. Cleansing Bar and the Xera Balm A.D. Cream (or the Tolerance Cream, both are great, just that this one comes in a smaller bottle for the same price). Those two alone make a huge difference in my skin. You literally feel your skin getting softer as you are using the bar. But if I ever need some extra help, I use the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 on top of my cream, let me tell you, any redness or bump, will go away! For sunscreen I bought one from Avène too, but I haven’t tried it. One that is great is La Roche Posay Anthelios XL Spray, is amazing! I just spray what I need in my palms and press it into my skin. It also lasts quite some time. I know it’s a long message, but these products have saved my skin. Hope I helped!

And he's honest too compared to all these beauty gurus who's only interested in getting money, doesn't care about the environment and stuff. He makes the complex topic of skincare accessible for everyone especially ladies and he does a good job of educating people. So he deserves likes and more subscribers and if you're like a lady in 20s like me, his videos are a must watch! phew he's so so fucking amazing!!!

Jessica Jordan the hydrating cleanser is the only product i had issues with! it made my skin start to burn a little after a few uses (though not as bad as the biore cleaners-those make me BEET RED and feel like fire ants on my face), and i feel like it didn’t actually clean my skin very well? like i just never felt clean after using it. i think it’s fine as a first cleanser because it takes off excess makeup really well
