I HAVE to detangle on wet hair lol.. My hair is coily so it is quick to tangle or get knots so I detangle mostly with a condish or deep condish on my hair then I soon have to do 2 strand twists or it will tangle right back up..lol. As I do my other steps I just do it section by section and twist it back up again.. I finger detangle 98% of the time and noticed less breakage. Thanks for sharing! :)

Hello DN, I am very tender headed and growing out my TWA for the first time has been challenging. With the number one being tender headedness and knots. I find the Dark and Lovely Anti-Shrinkage Au Naturelle Coil Moisturizer helps on wash day. Not to mention two strand twists. Although I have learned to comb my hair gently, videos like yours are great because they let me know I am not crazy and the issue is real. My other natural friends laugh and think I am trying to be funny, but I have got extra sensitive nerves on my head.

My hair is short so I can't put it in twists before washing. They unravel themselves. So I try separating my hair bit by bit then I add my leave in. Then I comb from the roots gently to the top. In the end I see some hairs in the comb. I feel I might not retain length 😓

New subscriber. Excellent video, demonstration and explanation. Your technique will help with webbing also. It looks as though you had a recent trim. Will you be doing a video on dusting and/or trimming? It would be very helpful. Thank you again.

Hi, Start by making sure you have a good moisturizer, apply it and then work in sections with a hair brush.

I hate my hair so much, I have individuals in rn but when it's free it tends to break off in the back, left side and it's so frustrating. I'll probably just press it all the time, and really moisturize and comb it out at night. I usually wear it in an afro, and comb and braid it up at night. My grandma is really frustrated with me because it keeps breaking off, but it's just so hard to handle it
