Yes they are basic, basic workouts are the best, anyone can learn them, they are easier to progressive overload so that you can build strength better and they target most muscle groups. They are the best risk to reward ratio for your training . Prior to each exercise I also tell you how it relates to Muay Thai . Generally , it strengthens up each major muscle group to handle the forces applied on Muay Thai
