Ah I have a 2003 chevy; apparently non canbus. Just put one of these stereos in. So it seems I all I have to do is tap into the green wire and connect to "line1". The radio should already be grounded so no need for the pink ground. Been looking for days for something like this. Thanks !!!!!!!

I found out the long research way, Black-ground Pink-12v for switch power Green-signal from switch Brown/white stripe- 12v button lights Those 4 to wire up your switches if your swapping 03-06 column in 99-02 truck and wiring clock spring up with just the wires from clock spring, wired mine up to a pac swi-rc, works great, make sure to wire pac and pink up to radio supply power so your switches work correctly with key off and RAP powering radio.

big waste of time . There is a 12 pin plug that you do not use on the back of the factory radio that doesn't get used on a aftermarket radio . Use a ohm meter hit the 12 pin connector and the volume button on the steering wheel until u see the ohms jump . There is your steering wheel wire connect it to key 1 and key 2 and your done

Not if you use Onstar and have a Bose System PAC Interface. They are both used.

Sorry, Bud, I don't have an answer to your question. My beast guess would be to try to look for some info sheet of that specific headunit and trace the wires and see what they do. Sorry for the late reply, best of luck in your project.

Probably the WC2+ and WC+ is the Key cables like yours. The CAN RX and CAN TX is communication cables or data cables, but what it the use on a Car Head Unit? Someone told my that can connect to the OBD using an OBD to Can RX/TX adaptor so provides the vehicle data. Do you have any clue? Thanks man.

Hi, My best bet will be to look for the key 1 and key 2 wires if has any, or any wire that has to do with the Steering wheel controls. Test which wires from the clock spring has to be with the Volume. Here is a tip grab a voltmeter set it to continuity test and pres the Up or down button on your steering wheel and see if you have any continuity on that wire. If you do go to your head unit and check for any app or program that will let you map that signal to your stereo. mine had a app that recognize the voltage from that wire and all i did was program that voltage to the Volume Up function. Best of luck i hope that works.
