Just made this using the 1/4th uberflex hose and it works great, super convenient, and very inexpensive. NOTE: After you remove the air hose, take extreme caution not to trip the reel while putting the pressure washer hose on. If you do, this will cause the reel to free spin since there is no hose and it will destroy the reel. Be very cautious as this happened to me twice before the third successful attempt. If you are using a uberflex hose (highly recommend) bend the opening with pliers WHILE the air hose is still on to prevent the free spin.

I've been having more and more problems getting Amazon packages delivered. It's mostly been in the last year or two. They used to be spot on with the two-day delivery but now it seems like every 4th or 5th delivery gets messed up by UPS or the postal service. To their credit, the Amazon drivers themselves seem to do a pretty good job!

I did the same thing but in my experience the rubber seals in the air hose reel popped where the water feeds into the hose wrapped on the hose reel. The one I got was rated at 200 psi and took about a week to pop.

Steel reel with a bolt down plate and it's a crank which I'm totally fine with. I'm only gonna roll up whatever I used at the end of every job anyway. I am curious. Hey bro. Kinda in a tough situation right now. I bought one and followed all your steps but the first time I tried I think I tightened too hard and gasket inside broke and wasn’t able to tighten. The second time I bought it, no issues but whenever I reel it back it starts leaking out like crazy. I tightened EVERYTHING slowly second time and it worked great for 1 week but now it’s leaking. I think it’s the issue with the swivel piece which isn’t handling so many retractions so it starts leaking. Is there a way to get an upgraded swivel piece that’s maybe made for pressure washers? I mean the little piece that comes already attached to the hose reel. I bought all your recommended attachments.

Gary i saw someone use a pool hose reel that costs $40 and convert it into a vacuum hose reel for detailing that’s compatible for rigid vacs! Could you make that into a video?

What psi is your pressure washer? I'm wondering if my 9gpm 3000 psi will go through this with no issues.. nice video, thanks

Mine is around 1k psi 2 gpm. I wouldn’t run that much pressure through it.
