This video will show you how to convert your drum brakes to disc brakes. This is on a 1970 Chevelle but all Muscle Cars from about the 1955 to 1970s are about the same.
I will show you the basics of the old drum brakes and how they work, removing the old steering rod from the drum brake assembly and installing it on the new disc brake assembly.
How to remove and replace the brake system proportioning valve and connect all the brake lines.
Installing the new spindles are covered in the following videos:

How to install the steering rods on backing plates, installing the rotors, pack the bearing with grease, install the brake pads, tighten the wheel bearing nuts, and tapping on the dusk caps.
It will also show how to bench bleed the maser cylinder, and adjust the connecting rod from the power booster to the brake peddle. Moving on to installing the master cylinder, bleeding all the brake lines, and finally connecting the vacuum line from the power booster to the intake manifold. And lastly showing that the only wheels that will fit on the car are 14 inch wheels that are for disc brakes only and not drum brakes or going to the next size 15 inch wheel.
This was not done in a shop but in my driveway. The intent is to give you confidence so you to can do this brake conversion and get the self satisfaction of converting your drum brakes (that do not stop the car) to power assisted disc brakes that will increase your own personal safety and everyone in the car with good stopping capability.
