Thank you for all the videos covering that and your kindness for all the questions. Just bought the co2 valves, can't wait to test it. I live in brazil, so the hot temperature will make this a great experiment.

I just recently got my first GHK AKM with steel internals and need to get mags. I’m looking at the GHK 7.62 Pmags. -unpopular opinion, is it possible to just use stronger gases? I know GBB like TM aren’t meant to use higher gases but many have modded them to work or American FPS/joules standards.

@Noah Mc congrats on your buy. I like the 7.63 pmag style with some modern furniture on it that’s how I run my real one. To your question, yes your ghk will be fine with higher pressure gas. The only thing I’d say is especially if you wanna use Co2 get steel hammer Steel bolt carrier Steel sear Since your internals are already steel you got nothing to worry about. Maybe get the tnt or maple leaf hop up bucking and unite and maybe a better barrel and you are golden it will last you for a looooong time. I’m using only Co2 on my ghk ak and it’s holding up with no issues it’s loving the co2. When you buy new mags make sure to widen the feed lips in a 45 degree angle that, so the nozzle can load them easier into the barrel. Ghk ak mags are knowing to be too stiff makes it also super hard to load bbs into the mag. When you file it a little bit, widen it, it be easy to load the mags and also It will prevent jamming issues. Don’t over do it though. With Standard green gas mags you can go up to black gas and it will run fine, if you were to fill up the mags with Co2 you would have to change the output valve to a Co2 output valve on the mag. It’s called devils mod, that might be something you could do later if interested in a harder kick. It’s a lill complicated and can be overwhelming in the beginning so I’d say stick with the regular green/red/black gases or Co2 mags that use Co2 cartridges. The devils mod if you are interested you can search on KZitem and there will be video talking about it. Pros and cons. Recap, the ghk ak platform is Incredibly strong it won’t break on you even with Co2.

the pressure from co2 is like 800psi right? do the guns hold for that pressure cus im thinking of doing this to my ghk mk18
@TomiHarley
Жыл бұрын
@Linus Asplund that’s a great question. The mags can hold up the pressure even in extreme heat. The ghk AR receiver should be able to hold up too since they do sell Co2 mags for it as well. And for a better rate of fire and more kick get a real buffer that will stop the bolt bounce when it’s slamming back In to battery. Rate of fire will go slightly up too, I would do a have buffer like h3 or H4 those might be too much for the ghk receiver. But a regular buffer those are a lil heavier then the ghk buffer you might even be able to go as heavy as an h2 buffer. Just be careful I have seen a few pics f the ghk receiver breaking but I don’t know what caused it.

Cus i tried to fill my gas mags whit co2 and just tried how hard it kicks and the pressure was 800psi like every one say u need on devilhunter mod butt fells like the bolt and npas is going to brake :P i know u kan buy co2 mags for ghk mk18 soo i gues it will hold up :D

@@ItsZerga that’s exactly my guess too. I have a ghk ak and the ghk nozzles held up nicely I just recently cut myself a new nozzle with an Npas i’m curious to see how that nozzle will hold up. I would say they should be fine because they knew some people would use CO2. Let me know how it goes.

Awesome vid ! Working on the same mod right now. Can it shoot green gas with the Co2 valves installed ? Also, can the inlet valves handle the 1000 psi of the Co2 ? Thanks.
@TomiHarley
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you I appreciate that and you’re gonna have a lot of fun doing it playing with CO2. So you can’t really put green gas red gas or black gas when you have the CO2 output valve installed it doesn’t work as well. Now just to be clear it works but very sloppy if that makes any sense. The input valve can easily handle 1000 psi. The best input valves I have found to be and that last the longest are from: KJ Work (KJW) And another very important thing if you want to fill up your magazines with as much CO2 as possible you should empty the magazine from the CO2 by pressing the output valve that way the magazine cools off and you are able to put in more CO2. Do not top it off especially when you are running steel components especially you’ll see how important that is when playing in winter 50 Fahrenheit and lower the magazine itself is already cold and the big tank that you used to fill up your magazines is also called the pressure inside the tank is not that big so you need to cool off your mags even more by filling it up all the way depressing the output valve So that it gets even colder. Jesus Christ that was so bad explanation but I hope it makes any sense if it doesn’t please ask me. Let me put it this way when you play in colder weather your magazines you need to cool them off more than when it’s summer time

Do you ever have to switch out the output valve o rings? Which ones do you use??
@TomiHarley
3 жыл бұрын
The two outer o ring I don’t really change it’s rare but definitely good to have some spare. Also you can put yellow ( it’s thicker then the white one) Teflon tape over it. Now the inner seals of the output valve: what I like to to after ever other game day I spry green gas into the mag. It has silicon oil in it and that helps to lub all the seals. If that doesn’t work: Then I take out the output valve and soak it in silicon oil for about 24 hours or more. The oil makes the O ring swell up for a perfect seal. Now you can spray it on and trying to spry that oil into the valve while simultaneously opening and closing the output valve with your thumb. If that doesn’t work take the output valve out and take it apart and let it soak in. I let them swim in silicon oil, I put it all in a lill plastic bag fill it up with silicon oil and trop all the part in it. The great think with that plastic bag, if I choose not to take it apart. when it submerged in oil I can still play with the valve pressing it open and have the oil go into the valve and also not have oil all over my fingers. If that makes any sense to you. I’m sure you know co2 is a dry gas, that’s why we have to lub those o rings from time to time. Green red black gas has silicon oil and the one of the cons is when playing with it, it smudges your inner barrel with that oil and makes your Gbb less accurate. Which o rings I use? The original from ghk Which Co2 output valve do I use? The original from ghk. How ever the input valve I use from KW it’s much better. Mad bull also made one out of steel but it’s very cheap and weak steel. The head of the input valve broke a couple of times on me while screwing it in, applying same force As I do with wetech ghk and kw input valves and the mad bull broke. Getting it back out was a pain had to use a drill and had to be careful not to damage the mag. Hope that helps if any think ask away.

If done the Devil mode still posible to use greengas in the Summer same mag offcourse.???
@TomiHarley
Жыл бұрын
@Ernst Meijer Great question, the answer is yes you can still use your green gas mags for the summer the only thing you would have to change is the output valve. For the devils mod You put in the CO2 output valves and for the green gas go back to the green gas output valves

@TomiHarley
Жыл бұрын
@m15 K79 good question, I have seen co2 magazines for the AR platform. Which leads me to believe that the KWA can with stand or should be able to with stand the higher pressure of co2. But 2 things, I don’t know if the green gas mag would with stand the higher pleasure and second I just had a hard time looking for co2 output valves. I count find them but they should be out there. The mag at this point would be my Biggest concern. VFC mags apparently aren’t strong enough to deal with the devils mod, so I heard. Please be careful if you choose to try it out. If you do so wear a hard face mask glasses thick gloves and fill it up just lill by lill. You don’t want to get hurt or lose a tooth 🦷 or an eye 👁 if it would go wrong. Ask some more people and see what they say. My apologies that I can’t help you out more on your question.
