I've usually always just used the control+C and V to grab and place links, or whatever, but it took me forever to figure this out. I was surfing everywhere and was wondering where my "Clipboard" is? It was a nightmare, I was simply asking everywhere where's my clipboard and how do I use it, whew...

Anyone know why other browsers on a Chromebook dont allow doing this and a work around for it?

I've just tried it in Firefox, it seems you can't right click because it's an Android app and not really meant to be used on a computer. The ctrl + c/v keyboard shortcut method seems to work. Or if your Chromebook has a touchscreen, you can highlight some text and then hold down on it with your finger on the screen, and you will get a menu with a copy option just like if you were copying something on an Android device. Hope this helps.

It depends on what blogging software you use, but often when you put a link on a blog, it won't automatically be clickable, you'll need to do something to make it clickable. If you know what software you use, you could Google something like "how to insert a link in WordPress", or "how to insert a link in Wix", or whatever you use for your blog. Once you make the link clickable, that should all work fine.

Ah, I think I see the problem, I've never heard of 7r6 before and I really don't know anything about it. But I've just tried it and it doesn't seem to actually shorten links, it just takes your link, and then gives you a random link to some ad-filled website. I would recommend staying away from them and just using the unshortened link or using a more reputable link shortener like bitly.com

I thought that’s wat right click meant, funny they couldn’t just call it double click, & yet sad✋😔

Yeah, it gets a bit confusing on modern laptops like these. Originally, it was called right click because you were clicking the right click button on the mouse, as opposed to the left. Then, older laptops used to have two different click buttons at the bottom of the trackpad, one for right click, and one for left. But in the past few years, they've completely ditched the buttons, so they had to make up a new way to right click with a trackpad. Which seems more like a double click, but they can't call it double click because double clicking has always meant doing a regular click two times in a row.

@@techtimewithtimmy understood so they can’t call it double click, which still exists even on my double touch chromebook, but they COULD call it thAT☝️or 2 touch, OR, just flop a button nXt to track pad, that says [click].. buuudt nOoo, that’d B smRt✋
