i think it would be really helpful if you actually explained what you were doing in the texturing section. most people dont know off hte top of their head how to add ambient occlusion or a point light map.

Going by what I've seen from cosmetics with different styles added in the game, I believe you just make a collection of multiple uploads. I don't got much other information, because I haven't actually uploaded anything yet and there are very little guides for making cosmetics.

Hey yo! The heavy model I got it from using a decompiler called "Crowbar" it allows you to decompile in game files, which then can be modeled on in blender. Hopefully, this makes sense. Best of luck!!

Make sure that you have your model properly rigged and the armature is correct. if you are using blender make sure under your modifiers tab that your armature is the skeleton of the merc you are trying to make cosmetics for.

My apologies for not going over rigging. I recommend viewing a few tutorials on how to rig in blender and then export as a smd otherwise it won't be compatible for teamfortress if that makes let me know :)

This tutorial is terrible and did not help at all. You only make a hat model and do not show the other steps. You don't even show how to get the heavy model. When I want to publish the hat it says "Error: bip_head" honestly this workshop thing is awful and dogwater this is also made on some 1998 code. I would appreciate if you can make another tutorial actually showing step-by-step how to make and publish a hat.
