Nice technique, it's the first time I've heard of finishing a painted piece with hemp oil.

Thank you so much for this video. I am about to complete a modern paint job and was stumped on how to finish the paint job. I have used hemp oil in the past but only on stained furniture, never painted. Without your video, this would have never crossed my mind. I can't wait to see how it turns out in person.

The timing for this video is perfect as I have been looking for something environmentally friendly to finish my painted furniture. It looks easy to apply. I also have an antique dresser that could use a coat of this product. Thank you for bringing it to the Saskatchewan marketplace.

Hi Roseanne, just wondering it the hemp oil can be used for outdoor furniture and does it deepen or intensify the colour just a bit..instead of lightening back up to the original colour. So I guess I am asking if it changes the paint colour (like wax does) ..more intense?
@CountryChicPaint

Hi Laurie, Once the Hemp Oil has fully cured it will not change the color of the paint but it will add a slight sheen :)

Confused....wait 2 hours after applying hemp oil to piece and then sand? Then wait min 12 hours for it to dry before applying another coat? Do same, apply, wait 2 hours and then sand again? Not too experienced, want to get it right...thank you!!!
@CountryChicPaint
7 жыл бұрын
Hi there! I know it might seem overwhelming at first, but once you get started it's actually very easy. You can actually start sanding your piece with an ultra-fine sandpaper immediately after applying Hemp Oil. We recommend waiting at least 12 hours before applying another coat of Hemp Oil to ensure that it soaks in the wood evenly. Here's a video that goes over how to use Hemp Oil in a little more detail: kzitem.info/news/bejne/zYOtymeoknlinGk Let us know if you have any more questions :)
