Thank you for the feedback! There are plans underway to address this issue. I will discuss this topic more in an upcoming announcement on the Discord server. discord.com/invite/AWWECeRcyX The creation of a new plugin is the most substantial component aimed at addressing it. The new plugin(DeepThought Engine) will aim to streamline and simplify using ML models in Unreal. The plugin is aimed at achieving more than just streamlining though. For example, it will integrate multiple backends such as Tensorflow and NNE/ONNX. DeepThought Engine will depend on the LibTorch and Tokenizers plugins shown in the video. The existing plugins will still be able to be used in the way I demonstrated in the video. I do not foresee that changing anytime soon. It would provide a consistent way of running models using different backends. I was inspired by Hugginface Transformers and Diffusers Python libraries. Using a transformer model in Hugginface Transformers is significantly easier, compared to native PyTorch. Using a transformer model in the DeepThought-Engine plugin will be significantly easier, compared to LibTorch-UE. LibTorch-UE would only be needed for really advanced ML tasks and/or creating new architectures. The readme of the repo for the new plugin has more info. There is no make empty tensor blueprint. Only make eye tensor.
