A synthesizer, a sampler and a drum machine are all you need to perform just about any style of house.

Heard said at one point that he used a Roland without MIDI for the "Can You Feel It" bass - so probably a Juno 6, sub oscillator only + chorus.

Why use a $700 semi modular to poorly reproduce the sound of a $100 synth? There's a million 303 clones for cheap

That Korg M1 organ bass isn’t even slightly close !

What am I using to make those classic House sounds? Primarily a Hydrasynth with an OpSix. I think I'm just a Juno-X and a Korg Legacy 2 M1 away from Deep House Nirvana! I also have a Korg ARP Odyssey but I'm constantly on the fence about trading it in or selling it for a rack mountable analog monosynth.

That Odyssey will bring you more joy than you'll ever experience in a modular setup. Modular is a trap to spend 20x for 1/2 the features

Too bad you're using clickbait titles now. To anyone looking to make house ON A BUDGET, just get Ableton. The equipment in this video will set you back anywhere between $1000 and $2200.
