Nice segment, John. My one question is once you place the detail(s) on the sheet, where does the annotation reside? On the actual detail that is referenced, or on the sheet layout itself? Thanks!

Hi Gerald! That is a great question, and to be honest it's worth it's own video:) But to summarize, there are 3 different areas for which to add documentation. 1. The Enlarged Section (1" Scale) is where you can add autotext labels, dimensions, and even 2d objects and documentation. This is a good place for it and would recommend. 2. If you go the "Source Details" Route, you could add additional labels, notes, dimensions, fills, and 2d objects there, but note the autotext labels will be limited as it'll be exploded content. 3. You can add common notes and callouts on the layout itself. This would be more recommended for general type callouts, that would apply to all the views. Hope that helps describe it, and yes I'll definitely have to do a followup on the subject of documentation! This vid was more about setting up the source views. Thanks!

I see some tactical mistakes. When you set brean marks on both side of the ridge, it would be much better alligned if you mirror it using roof tip as an axis. Some more minor things....

Agreed! Definitely could have planned the path out a bit better, I think I commented as such during the recording, first take in this case :)
