Genevieve, you truly are a lightbulb in my life. What I mean by this is that when I’m having a bad day, I watch one of your videos and your precious mindset with life instantly fills me with joy, happiness and hope ❤

Thank you so much for the reminder around 9:30 to pause the video and take as much times as I need to make shapes that I love. I struggle with remembering that you are not brand new to this, and so I find myself comparing my speed to yours, and I often forget that what seems to come easier to you is because you have practiced and worked at it, just like I am trying to do now. That reminder to stop and take whatever time I need was something that is like "duh" when I hear it, but I still needed to hear it. In this particular instance I was drawing my leaves and they just looked crappy and I hated them, but I thought, "well I'll just have to keep going and hope the next step makes them better." But that's not true...I can stop and take the time I need to refine them now! Thank you for that reminder!

I think a paper cut tutorial of a cute animal with balloons and flowers would be cool.. And animating a sign or balloon that pops up with message, (ie. Happy Birthday, etc.) would be really fun.

Hello! I did not discover you until about a month ago! My comment on this video is 8 months late, lol. I graduated with a design degree about 8 months ago, (wish I had found your videos while I was in design school), and the job market right now is not so great. It's been frustrating. Your videos have really helped me deal with this job hunting low I am in. I have learned a great deal and I have been able to build my portfolio with the new skills I have learned. Thank you so much! You are a wonderful teacher!

Hi Genevieve, An avid fan of yours following all of your videos. Love this one & would like to see the same technique applied to a Mandela design that could then be printed out & framed. Look forward to your the next video.

thank you for sharing about changing the Hue/ Saturation/Brightness of the texture layer. I have a file with a bunch of different textures, but they always seem too dark. I adjust the opacity, but then they lose the texture. This will be a great way to fix that! Good thing my iPad is plugged in downstairs and I'm in bed!
