In this video, I run through my process of creating depth when painting fur using acrylics. The fur in this video is a poodle ear and there's various different textures of fur going on from woolly tufts, long curly strands and poofy, frizzy areas. They all need slightly different applications. I also use glazing in this video which I haven't really shown previously. Glazing is a good technique for layer building to create depth.
I also talk a little about the paints and brushes I use. I hope you will find it helpful and please be sure to leave feedback in the comments as it is always welcome. I do have some limitations with regards to camera and that sort of thing. In time, I may be able to address these limitations but they aren't necessarily something I can affird to address soon but I am likely already aware of them anyway.
