Can you make another video about mookie betts and how he’s able to transfer his weight into his front foot? I’ve been trying to get his swing down bc i have a similar frame and he does so many things so well. Another thing is how is he able to keep his hands back and create torque? Thanks Matt

Focus on what happens before his foot gets weighted. Forget about the front foot unless you are thinking about hovering the front foot off the ground as long as possible.

Great stuff Matt. Question, as far as video equipment, cell phone or go pro or other is there a preference? And how to put the separate videos on a video. Is there an easy or user friendly video editing software that’s preferred? Or use KZitem? Lastly, about how long should a video be?

Matt , regarding sending colleges a player exposure video , how many minutes should the video be ? I don't want it to be too short , and don't want it to be too long as to be tedious for the viewing coach. Thanks , Jeff Wheelon.

I wonder if the first 6-8 seconds really need to be attention grabbing, since like he said those coaches get tons of videos, kind of like a resume?? I’m sure It would need to be longer than that window, because they can stop watching whenever they want, but I wonder if it would hurt for it to be, say 5 mins? Loading and buffering may be affected for lengthy videos… this is a good question!

Excellent advice Matt. I was wondering what your opinion is on the Savannah Bananas and what they are bringing to the sport. Would love to hear your thoughts

I watch your channel although my daughter is trying to get recruited for softball. A lot overlaps. What about hired recruiters/sports marketing "agents"? We had one wanting us to $ign up but to this point have avoided the additional fees. I've heard some people say they couldn't have landed their school without the help, others state the coaches hate dealing with these people and save your money. Any comments?

Matt, I have a good question I’ve always wondered about life in the majors. How does the team communicate/coach let players know info? In college ball, everything was done with the app “group me” and emails. I am wondering if it is the same in the majors, or if you guys used something else. Also, do the rookies go around getting the veteran’s phone numbers? Just curious! Thanks for your time!

Which major leaguer, past or present, in your opinion has perfect mechanics, from the start of the forward swing up to contact?

Excellent advice Matt. A lot of kids don’t know how to get exposed out there. Please keep the drive in educated kids and navigated them on the “HOW”

Im only half way through BUT im hearing $$$ besides the video and email thing obviously. What about us that actually need the help of a scholarship and not the rich parents that can send their kids to all these things without thinking twice...

Use the advice that doesn’t involved paying. Video and email is the best way for you. I spent no money to get recruited

Any opinion on Baseball Factory? Did their try-out & awaiting the video which seems decent. Was invited to there expensive (close to $4,000) week all inclusive tournament but don’t think it’s going to help with exposure so going to pass.

Thank you for the video Matt there was a lot of great information you put out there! I just have one question. Would sending your PBR/perfect game profile suffice? Both of them provide video of players who have done their showcases, although I would say PBRs are a lot better, but would that be good enough for a video sent to the colleges?
