Knuckle conditioning works, whatever you use. I've walked away from street fights without a scratch or bruise on my hands, having punched someone in the head several times full strength.

i am a firm believer that the hands and arms are like the feet and legs and you should be able to walk, run and jump on them. if you train the way i do, you will find also how the whole rest of the body is effected by this and how your breathing adjusts too...the way this guy does the bag is cool

yes and no, cos if you get punched hard to the head or to the chin with a boxing glove or mma glove then yes there is padding but the after impact of the punch is greater cos you are shocking the brain and nervous system so you cant say a punch with a glove is soft, cos believe me sometimes its worse, especially to the head. yes bare knuckle carries more impact to any part of the body but can sometimes limit an individual's ability to utilise complete e power.

Punching without gloves/wraps does not produce more power. You should wrap your wrist and try it for yourself. The extra support by the wrist wraps allows you to transfer as much force as you want which is why a lot of pro boxers break they're hands in street fights - they simply produce too much power and don't hit properly barehanded
@tejasgowda7063
7 жыл бұрын
hey amateur your bare knuckles produce about 800-1000 pounds of force but using gloves or wraps reduces the force to 400-700 pounds
@pontus9092
7 жыл бұрын
That amount of force will fuck your knuckles up no matter the conditioning you have unless you get a good hit at your opponents eye socket/brow. Really the only good way of fighting bare handed is by using the bass rutten/irish brawler method of hitting with the base of your palm or back of hand

tejas cookling there's no proof in what you say Boxing gloves let you punch harder because your hands are protected you're not going to be punch as hard as you can barefisted, if you do you willl break your hand if you hit a bone or a hard part of the body
@Loveilis

I'm pretty sure if you were PROFESSIONALLY conditioning your bones from your fingers to your wrist and up your arms, you wouldn't break your (now strengthened bones). Of course, if you just started punching random targets for the first time for A month you will probably be an amateur. Say this to A monk who has conditioned his body over the course of years.

Tejas Coolking Bullshit. Wrapping your hands produces a better fist. That's why gangsters take their bandanas off and wrap their hand while they fight. Everyone who's ever boxed knows hand wraps let you hit harder.

+ Larry Sanders I was wondering the same thing . I know the early bare knucklers and early boxers use to soak their hands in olive oil and cyenne pepper after punching trees . I don't know how effective that is but I would definitely use jow ! !

Hand wraps allow you to hit harder because it protects your hands. The more protection your hand has the more.power you can put behind your punch. Knuckles cause cuts and swelling (damage) but wraps and small gloves allow harder punching.

Good question. No it would not. In the video you'll here me saying to make sure the towel is wet. Once the towel is wet it completely envelopes the contour of the fist hitting the valley's between the knuckles as well as the surface themselves. Creating one solid de-sensitized area over the surface of the enitre fist. A carpet,because of it's fabric and structual design could not aaccomplish this.

It's better to use your first two knuckles because those are the 2 biggest ones and the more tougher ones as well. If you use your your ring and pinky knuckles to punch then it's going to hurt and your more likely to hit the person/object with your pointer and middle finger knuckles. I know this for a fact btw, I'm not just bullshitting you

+Anita Dayte thats but when you are hardening your fists thats exactly why its important to harden those two "small" fingers, so that you wont break them as easily
@bluecapone

I disagree, the three last knuckles effectively share the load of a punch which would protect them from breaking. Sharing the load over 2 knuckles brings much more stress to two points. Would you rather punch something hard with a single knuckle? Of course not because all the load over 1 knuckle will surely break it. I've taken a few different types of martial arts and they always said the first 2 knuckles as well, but for my personal experience I hit much harder with less pain over the last three. On a side note I have extremely boney sharp knuckles, so maybe it's just me. My friend has really flat knuckles and he hits 100x harder than me. I'm sure he could use the two first knuckles no prob.

plzzzz... upload conditioning on elbows
@Ben-qm9zq
6 жыл бұрын
Tejas Coolking exactly the same concepts. If you know what planks are, try doing them on your elbows holding weight between your hands. Then raise and lower the weight to the ground. You will feel it, plus of course hit a bag as seen in the video. Military snipers have very strong elbows because they crawl across the ground on their elbows holding their weapon. Maybe give that a try. Most instructors don't know or teach you that there are 4-5 striking methods... The slice where you just catch the tip of your elbow, the smash or knockout using full force hooking motion, but here there are two ways... The inside of your elbow with the hard bony tip or the outside using your forearm. These two are very different, as you would probably not want to hit a very hard surface with the inside bony tip. You'll have to practice the differences. Next the reverse or hammer elbow using the back of the elbow and upper arm. Lastly, the thrust, poke, or pushing elbow. Just as it sounds like, you poke at or thrust into your target. All techniques should be practiced. Enjoy, good luck, start slowly and don't hurt yourself or others...unless ya have to...!!!!✌️😂✌
