Hi nice video. I recently purchased these products and have a question. Maybe I missed it but how long shall we wait for the paint to dry (and is there a maximum time we shouldn't exceed) before using water to remove much of the paint. Thanks!

Hi there, 10-15 minutes, paint needs to be dry to touch. It will peel off even if left over the model for a day or two, no worries. Please check out our full FAQ (view ona computer not mobile) for details: www.vms-supplies.com/vms-chipping-paint Happy modelling, Chris

G'Day Question. How does the modeller lay down one initial colour, then later go over the site with a different shade. And NOT remove the first effect Was it due to time, or had another layer of varnish been added over the first Thank you

Hello, A good question. Once happy with the chipping result, one can increase the durability of the 1st coat with hair drier - once heat treated it will gain extra durability, so the next added effect will be removed more easily and the previous one will be unaffected unless scrubbed very hard. Alternatively one can seal a coat with varnish, but using the hair drier is easier.
